Machine learning, Material science for sustainable electrochemical systems
Rui is Wendy and Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral research fellow at UChicago, mentored by Professor Junhong Chen and co-supervised by Professor Yuxin Chen, specializing in the intersection of machine learning and materials science for sustainable electrochemical system applications. Rui got his bachelor's degree from Nanjing University in China, and Ph.D. from Nanjing University with experience as a full-sponsored exchange student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Current Research
Rui's current work focuses on developing an AI-driven platform for eco-friendly electronics while also leveraging large language models for scientific data mining and automating lab experiments for autonomous discovery.
